Harrisburg Magazine August 2026 Cover

Harrisburg Magazine's August issue is their biggest issue of the year; the culmination of months of planning for and voting on the publication's annual "Simply the Best" reader survey of local businesses. Each year in conjunction with the competition a themed gala is held, with 2026's theme being "Out of This World."
Working within that theme, and inspired by iconic NASA images as well as sci-fi movie posters from the 30s to the 60s, I created this illustration mostly in Photoshop with some typographic work done in Illustrator and InDesign.
